Interview With Peter Freedman, MD of Consumer Goods Forum [Video]

The Consumer Goods Forum is a network of over 400 consumer goods manufacturers and retailers operating in over 70 countries - from global brands like Walmart and Amazon to small regional retailers most of us haven't even heard of. Their mission is to bring these companies together in pursuit of business practices that improve efficiency, drive positive change and benefit shoppers without hindering competition.

The kind of 'positive change' they're talking about is encapsulated in their 'core pillars': product safety, sustainability, health and wellness, end-to-end value chain and standards, and knowledge sharing.

In this video, Consumer Goods Forum managing director Peter Freedman is interviewed by the BBC and speaks about the challenge of bringing so many diverse voices together, collaboration, and how many CEOs want to do 'the right thing'.
